Why pay more for less?
With declining profits and rising costs we needed to understand soil balance and the part it plays in improved animal and human health. By getting our soils in better balance, any added inputs ie: nitrogen and phosphorus, are utilised instead of disappearing into our waterways etc - or becoming locked up in the soil. GFS was formed 12 years ago when we realised the need for a more sustainable way of farming. We recommend a totally independent and comprehensive soil and foliage testing as the first steps we take in working with you. This will indicate the availability and reserves of nutrients in your soil and grass.
We then, accurately diagnose and reinstate
mineral and vitamin deficiencies, making it
easier for us to assist you in correcting any
animal health and nutrition issues such as
pink eye, worms, mastitis, grass tetany, milk
fever etc. These are all reduced or even
eliminated as the animals and soils needs are
brought into balance - the way nature
intended.
A simple systems approach that works
At GFS we can create a systematic program for you, that will correct your nutrient deficiencies and balance your soils through the use of biologically–enhanced fertilizers and stock supplements. This produces nutrient dense feed that will improve your animal health, nutrition and production.
